Addams Park is 9+ acre park located in the Near West Side Community. The ComEd Rec Center and reimagined outdoor athletic fields hosts a variety of programs, classes, leagues, and events. The near 100 square foot recreation center features an artificial turf field, convertible to multiple fields for a variety of sports including baseball, football, lacrosse, and soccer.  In addition, the multi-purpose hard surface courts is utilized for basketball, floor hockey, rollerskating, and volleyball. A 3-lane indoor padded track surrounds the turf field for walkers and runners alike. The facility also includes community areas and rooms for classes, meetings, and parties. Outside, the park has an artificial turf football/soccer field and an artificial turf baseball field for year-round camps, programs, and private rentals.

In cooperation with the Chicago Park District, the CHA contributed to the funding of the new ComEd Rec Center. The facility is expected to serve an estimated 7,500 new residents moving into the adjacent Roosevelt Square Development and in the surrounding neighborhood.
